Okay, let’s be real for a second, these Garlic Parmesan Bread Twists are crazy easy to make. And when I say crazy easy, I also mean dangerously easy – in like – You might eat all of them without making it to the table, easy.
They’re crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy on the inside, and they smell like heaven decided to open a breadstick shop in your kitchen. Serve them with marinara, ranch, or honestly, straight from the tray. I won’t judge.

INGREDIENT NOTES
You only need just 3 simple-to-get ingredients. That’s it. No kneading, no rising, no fancy-pants ingredients. Just buttery, garlicky goodness that’s ready before your Netflix show finishes loading.
- ✅ Crescent Dough – Grab a tube from the fridge section. If it’s the kind with seams, just pinch them together. Easy fix.
- ✅ Garlic Butter – Melted butter mixed with a bit of garlic is all you need for that flavor hit. If you’re feeling fancy, use garlic-infused olive oil instead.
- ✅ Parmesan Cheese – The star of the show. Use grated, not shredded, so it sticks perfectly to the dough.
Totally Optional:
- ✅ Italian Seasoning (optional) – Sprinkle it in for that extra herby kick.
- ✅ Salt – Just a pinch at the end makes everything pop.

Eazy Note: Ingredients like common seasonings, oil, water, etc, don’t factor into the ingredient count because most people have those pantry items in their kitchen.
👩🍳 How to Make Garlic Parmesan Twists
These directions are pretty simple because the dough making is already done for us which, hey, I am always ready for making life just a tad bit easier.
- Preheat your oven and roll out the crescent dough, and press the seams together if needed, so you’ve got one big rectangle.
- Brush the dough with melted garlic butter and sprinkle about half your Parmesan cheese on top.
- Slice the dough into long strips, and twist each one a few times.
- Bake, then brush with more butter and hit them with the rest of the Parmesan (and maybe a little salt for good measure).
- Serve warm with your favorite dip, like marinara, pizza sauce, or ranch all work perfectly!

💡 Helpful Tips for the Best Garlic Parmesan Sticks
- Want them extra cheesy? Sprinkle with a bit of shredded mozzarella before twisting.
- Feeling spicy? Add a pinch of crushed red pepper to the butter or sometimes when I’m feelin’ a bit spicy, I’ll add a smidge of Franks Red Hot to the butter, which tastes amazing.
- Leftovers (if you somehow have any) crisp right back up in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.
- Don’t skip that post-bake butter brush (seriously,) because it’s what makes them taste like buttery, garlicky homemade happiness.
- If you’re feeling particularly ambitious (can I just say kudos for you!), instead of making sticks, making garlic bread with this 3 Ingredient Bread or using my 2 Ingredient Bun recipe makes making the homemade bread part a breeze.
Recipe Questions
Can I use Pizza Dough instead of Crescent Roll dough?
I’ve done this, but they turn out a bit differently than when you use crescent dough. Crescent dough is flakier and higher in fat than regular pizza dough. So while using it technically works, I find that using more garlic butter helps the crispiness. They’re still delicious, but turn out more like a breadstick, and the ‘twist’ isn’t as pretty, haha!

I love that these garlic breadsticks are one of those snacks that fit literally anywhere. Movie night? Perfect. Game day? Yup. Fancy dinner that suddenly needed bread on the side? Done. They’re buttery, crispy, cheesy, and so easy that you’ll find yourself making them just because it’s Tuesday.
When you make these, I’d love to know how they turned out! Leave a comment, share a pic, or tell me if you gave them your own twist (pun absolutely intended).
And hey, if you’re into simple, tasty recipes that make you look like a kitchen pro with zero effort, make sure you stick around for more. I promise there’s plenty more deliciousness coming your way.

These 3-ingredient garlic bread twists are buttery, garlicky, and ridiculously easy. Made with store-bought dough, they bake up golden, crisp, and perfect for dipping, snacking, or serving with dinner.

- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- Optional: pinch of Italian seasoning sprinkled on top or added into the butter. A dash of salt.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a baking sheet well.
- Unroll the crescent dough and gently press the seams together to form one big rectangle. (or use a crescent roll sheet). Brush the surface with garlic butter, then sprinkle half the Parmesan over top.
- Slice into 8–10 long strips and twist each one several times.
- Arrange on the baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Brush again right out of the oven with melted butter (mix in the Italian seasoning if you like).
- Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan and a touch of salt if you like.
Notes
Want it cheesier? Add some shredded mozzarella before twisting. Garlic butter can be swapped with garlic olive oil. Sprinkle crushed red pepper (or Franks Red Hot Sauce) in the butter for a little heat. Leftovers reheat best in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes
